I spent 5 lovely nights in Dornoch. the jewel in the crown was the amiable staff. - the location was amazing, close to the center. - Café Milk & Honey located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Overall it was a really great stay for the first night of our NC500 trip. The staff and people generally were welcoming. The location was marvellous, just a short walk away from a parish church. Visiting bars and pubs a short walk to the hotel was easy.

Woodlands Bed And Breakfast in Dornoch is my favorite place to stay. The staff was friendly and the overall experience was fantastic. The location is superb, being situated right on the historic walking trail. It's close to the town center with plenty of bars, shops, pubs, and restaurants nearby.

We stayed at Woodlands B&B for our trip along the NC500 and the owners were incredibly friendly and informative about nearby attractions. The breakfast was incredible with a great variety of extras. We had the entire top floor to ourselves, which was a great little addition. The staff were welcoming and helpful, providing us with a portable room heater to keep warm. The location was blissfully quiet and the room comfortable with a large ensuite. The shower was excellent and we enjoyed the shortcut through the woods to the village. The beach in Durnoch is gorgeous and worth a visit.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
